Karn Goshthi Mahila Group and Samanvaya Group Spread Joy Among Children.
Ranchi: On the occasion of New Year, the Karn Goshthi Mahila Group and Samanvaya Group, dedicated to social upliftment, organized a heartwarming event at Guru Nanak Home for Handicapped Children to bring joy to underprivileged children.
The event featured the distribution of food, daily essentials, and a Spirometer to the children. Other items such as bedsheets, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, detergent, sesame sweets (tilkut), and snacks were also distributed.
Speaking to the media, Rani Das, the president of Samanvaya Group, shared that their organization conducts such initiatives annually to provide food and clothing to the needy. She emphasized the significant role of financial contributions from the group’s members in making these events possible and urged everyone to come forward to support the underprivileged.
The event was attended by key members of the Samanvaya Group, including Ruby Verma, Manna, Aradhana, Pushpa Labh, Kavita Mallik, Swati Labh, Poonam Pandey, and Sushila Devi, who spent time with the children and helped spread smiles.
Rani Das highlighted that the primary aim of this initiative is not just to provide assistance but to share happiness with the marginalized sections of society. She also expressed her commitment to organizing similar events in the future.
